The simple installer will help you what product you want to install on the servers. If you want to install veritas cluster server along with veritas volume manager, choose SFHA.

RajibZ says
Hi i want to download storage foundation for RHEL 7 for trial purpose. from where can i get it ?
manikantha R says
Hi Lingeswaran,
I followed the steps you provided, but in the end i got error msgs that said packages failed to install on node2. On node1 they are installed. I checked the log files and each of them says this:
pkgadd: ERROR: unable to determine current run-state
Installation of failed (internal error).
No changes were made to the system.
I copied only VRTSperl one but it is same error for every package that failed to install on node2.
manikantha R says
nevermind, a reboot fixed it.
ravi says
after running ./installer i’m getting the following error:
Error: Cannot find perl to execute ./installer!
How to work around this issue?
Lingeswaran R says
Verify your package.
Urvesh Mendhe says
Hi, i was having the same issue , I removed extracted directory and unzip and untar again supplied chmod 777 -R Dir
then ./installer started working
Sudharson says
@Hari Naidu: I also had same issues .. check the Solaris update versions and vcs version. VCS 6.1 support only Solaris 10 Update 8, 9, 10 . So either go for VCS 5.1 or update the Solaris 10.
Hari Naidu says
I installed vcs but after rebooting it is saying that vxvm not available…
Gopal says
How can we get VXVMVCS software packege.
